A lifelong surfboard shaper and skier, Art Coyler lives, works, and plays in the Hood River Valley in Oregon. Before planting roots in the Northwest, he shaped for leading surfboard companies in San Diego - Nectar and Rusty. After heading north, he shaped with Gerry Lopez in Bend and founded North Pacific Surfboards, building custom surf, sail, foil, sup, and kiteboards for the local community and beyond. North Pacific specializes in custom boards that work perfectly in the Pacific Northwest's thick, fast, and heavy waves.
When the water is flat and the snow forecast is good, he heads to Mount Hood to ride his skis that share a common design with his board shapes, the Forma.
