Our goal is to keep your equipment on the hill longer.
The simplest path towards sustainability is buying less crap and extending equipment longevity. This lessens our impact on the planet.
What steps are we making towards equipment longevity?
We began by partnering with industry-leading factories. Our skis are produced in austria at the amer sports factory (makers of atomic, salomon, black crows, and more) and snowboards in dubai at sws boards (creators of jones, yes, arbor). Not only do these facilities produce consistent, high-quality products, but they've also spent years maximizing waste efficiency and are on the cutting edge of best practices in sustainable manufacturing.
In the design of our equipment, you'll see everything has easily repairable
black bases, timeless aesthetics that don't change year over year, and built with proven materials.
Equipment longevity in action is our lifetime service pass, an offer built into the price of our equipment to keep it on the hill longer and save you money in the process.
longevity in action
We put our longveity goal in action by offering the Season lifetime service pass, an offer built into the price of our equipment to keep it on the hill longer and save you money in the process.
"SOLID BLACK BASES ARE BOTH AESTHETICALLY AND FUNCTIONALLY THE BEST SUITED FOR LONGEVITY AND REPAIRS. THEY'RE ALSO THE FASTEST, DON’T TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT, ANY SKI OR SNOWBOARD RACER AND SEE WHAT COLOR THEIR BASE IS."
- AUSTIN SMITH / SEASON FOUNDER
"SEASON’S PLAN IS TO CHANGE THE FOOTPRINT AND LIFE SPAN OF ITS PRODUCTS AND TO SHARE THAT RESPONSIBILITY BETWEEN THE BRAND (WHICH WILL BREAK THE NEW-GEAR-EVERY-YEAR PRODUCT CYCLE), THE SHOP (WHICH WILL MAINTAIN THE PRODUCT FOR LIFE), AND THE USER WILL THEORETICALLY HOLD ON TO THEIR GEAR FOR A LONG TIME."
