Spring on Mt Hood
During spring and early summer on Mount Hood, everyday by the hour the conditions change. Sun, wind, and temperature can render a range between rock hard ice and sticky mashed potato snow. When the delicate balance is struck, you find the sweet spot, perfect corn snow. Timing is crucial and it's race against the melting snowpack which makes moments like these so special.
